Why total immersion? ENCUENTROS is a Spanish school in Cuernavaca that offers a total immersion experience and guarantees quick results.  Our fun, functional communicative approach to language acquisition emphasizes using Spanish in diverse situations twenty four hours a day! While understanding the grammar and the structure of Spanish is important in figuring it out, we feel that ample time must also be invested in using the language to make it more meaningful.   It is like learning how to swim: you need to dive in! 

Our language school in Mexico offers the chance to immerse yourself in the language and culture of our country. During the Spanish sessions (9 to 12 every day but Monday, from 12:30 to 2:30) you will be learning the structural aspects of the Spanish language using a variety of creative materials and fun techniques.  Groups are maximum four students per teacher so there is plenty of personal attention! The Conversation/Pronunuciation class, Survival Spanish Course and Travelers' Spanish (for beginners) and Charlas (talks on Mexico) for conversational Spanish, and visits which constitute the rest of the morning schedule until 2:30 pm offer you opportunities to practice what you have learned in the Spanish language classes. Optional afternoon activities and weekend excursions round out the program and offer you additional language practice. 

Finally, a "home stay" or living with a Mexican family gives you the chance to interact using your Spanish in authentic, every day situations.  Speaking Spanish is the key to mastering it, and the exciting spectrum of total immersion Spanish opportunities at ENCUENTROS offers you the chance to live a living language while you learn it.
